The Merlin’s Europe 2000 Official Sticker Collection of The England Team is introduced by Head Coach Kevin Keegan, with sticker number 1. England, and Keegan himself are introduced in greater detail on page 2, with the badge shiny and a large team kits sticker. Page 4 goes on to detail the squad, with a brief introduction before beginning with football stickers for the goalkeepers, turning over, the stickers continue with defenders, midfielders and then finally the forwards who make up the England Squad.
The ‘Young Lions’ page examines the rising talent in the under-21 squad, some now famous faces appear on the list such as Frank Lampard and Jamie Carragher. Stats for each player appear down the side of the page with photos of the players themselves. Moving on from this section, ‘The Road to the Finals’ examines the various qualification groups and the qualifiers, with a small box showing the best performing teams during the process.
The body of the collection is arranged into groups, with a summary double-spread for each, showing the four teams and their stats, making-up the group. From there, each team gets a single page of stickers, with the club sticker and half size stickers (a and b) for the players. 12 players appear for each club, with their information down the side of the page.
The album is interspersed with various feature pages including ‘Past Championships’, ‘Farewell to Alan Shearer’, ‘Euro 96 Revisited’ and ‘European Superstars’.
