"Welcome to a new season of the Barclaycard Premiership and the tenth edition of Merlin's Official F.A. Premier League sticker collection. After a football-filled summer break it's great to see the many truly outstanding teams and players competing again in our domestic league championship.

Premier League Logo

The Barclaycard Premiership attracts some of the players from throughout the World. In fact 101 Premier League players represented their country in Japan and Korea and since then Senegal's World Cup star El Hadji Diouf has signed for Liverpool, while Arsenal have landed World Cup-winner Gilberto of Brazil. To see such players competing alongside an array of young England talent such as Manchester United's new signing Rio Ferdinand. West Ham's Joe Cole and Newcastle's midfield star Kieron Dyer is a real treat for the supporters, who get to watch the best players in the world week-in, week-out.

This season will also see two new clubs making their debut in the Barclaycard Premiership and a Merlin sticker collection. Indeed, the competition will now have more local derbies on offer than ever before. For Kevin Keegan's Manchester City it's a welcome return to the top-flight while for West Bromwich Albion and Birmingham City the Barclaycard Premiership offers a new experience that i hope they both enjoy.

Whether you're new to the Barclaycard Premiership or a seasoned follower, enjoy all the action with Merlin's 2003 edition of the Official F.A. Premier League sticker collection. There's everthing you need to know about clubs along with features and in-depth statistics to guide you through the season."

- Foreword, Richard Scudamore

Merlin Premier League 2003 Sticker PacketPremier League Chief Exec, Richard Scudamore starts the album with a foreword. After stickers 1 and 2, the premier league badge and trophy shinys respectively, we get started with the first team, Arsenal. In this edition each team is assigned six pages, four full pages of player stickers and a double spread of the club summary.

The first page for each team consists of the club badge shiny, manager photograph with accompanying text. A premier league performance record from last year's season provides stats on the leading goal scorers, with a clock-style diagram showing the time distribution of the goals scored, as well as the team sticker.

Premier League 2003 No.388The facing page shows the club's major honours, a pair of key player football stickers and a performance analysis of the previous season. The each of the key player shinys gets a brief paragraph about them. There is a clever wheel diagrams showing the previous season's games played.

The next two double spread shows the player stickers with all the usual stats and information. The centre of the album contains 'The Kits' two kits per sticker, distributed over the two central pages.
