Panini Football 88 Sticker PacketThe top third of the first page contains a brief introduction to the sticker album, and, just to mix things up a little, the Panini Football 88 Sticker Album does away with the PFA and SPFA player of the year stickers, replacing them instead with the logos themselves of the associations and the two leagues themselves.

Not wishing to venture too far out of their comfort zone, Panini immediately bring it back in line with the established format, with Arsenal starting the club pages as we turn over. The ‘Fact File’ column appears down the right of the first page, the team emblem at the top of the page and a team badge shiny to the right at the top. 6 players appear on the first page, and a further 8 on the facing page. The page opposite shows the team photo sticker too.

Panini Football 88 No.308This structure carries on as far as the ‘Guess Who!’ feature, which shows a pixelated image of players in the league. The football sticker that fits alongside shows the unpixelated version of the image, revealing the answer. The centre of the album then shows a ‘Panini In Football’ feature section, celebrating 11 years of Panini Sticker in Great Britain. There’s a couple of special shinys on this page, and some shaped cutout stickers that fill in the blank on a selection of photographs. Over the page the ‘Ton Up!’ feature marks the 100th birthday of the Football League.

Other feature sections in the Panini Football 88 Sticker Album include ‘They’re on top of the world’ and ‘2nd Division Heroes’, before the second division teams begin, 6 to a page, with just the badge shiny and team photo sticker. The Scottish Premier Division teams are allocated a single page each, with half sticker for each player to fit 14 squad members, plus the team photo sticker and the badge shiny all onto one page.
