TPanini Football 89 Sticker Packethe Panini Football 89 Sticker Album again shows the PFA and SPFA Player and Young Player of the Year stickers on the opening page. Paul Gascoine makes an appearance as the 1988 PFA Young Player of the Year whilst playing for Spurs!

The club pages in this edition boast full colour pages, and Panini make the most of this fact by dazzling the reader with vibrant backdrops to each page, action shots of footballers in various heroic poses with colourful go faster stripes streaming from various footballs. The teams each get a double-spread, as in previous sticker albums, with 12 squad football stickers, each showing a brief biography below. There are also the shiny badge, manager sticker and team photo sticker.

Panini Football 89 No.242

The ‘Action Art’ feature section contains 18 shiny stickers, each of a footballer mid-kick, or a goalie sprawled out making an amazing save. Each of the images used appears to be a ‘generic’ footballer drawing rather than any players actually playing in the league. The following page shows the start of the Scottish Premier Division teams, the Football 89 sticker album is the first edition to drop the English Second Division teams. This frees up space to allow the Scottish teams to be arranged identically to the English First Divsion.

The final page shows the ‘Poster Parade’, with stickers showing historic posters from past World Cup tournaments.
