Bobby Moore OBE writes an introduction on the inside front cover for the Panini Football 90 Sticker Album, in which he confirms that the sticker album is the only collection to get the official blessing of the various professional footballing bodies.
Page one shows the usual PFA and SPFA Player and Young Player of the Year stickers, and then of course it’s time for the clubs on page 3, with Arsenal. This edition shows 12 squad member stickers over the right hand side of the club double-spread. Down the left is the club badge shiny, a brief information box, and the team photo. The backdrop for each team page is a full-page colour photo of a player from the team, in action, with the stickers arranged on the page to allow room for the photo. The manager also get’s their own football sticker on the left hand side of the page.
After Wimbledon round-off the First Division teams, we see a World Cup feature page, with a competition to win tickets to the Finals in Italy. There is a world cup shiny sticker, along with 16 other action shot stickers from various world cup finals over the years. Each sticker is the answer to a trivia question below each on the page.
The Scottish Premier Division clubs fill the rest of the album, arranged in the same way as the English First Division teams. The final page of the album is another special feature ‘Who Said That?’ which consists of a selection of caricatures of British TV football commentators.
