“UEFA EURO 2004 was all about two teams: hosts Portugal, who roused the nation with their run to the final, and the side that sensationally beat them to win the title, Greece.

'Kinas' the UEFA Euro 2004 MascotThe two UEFA EURO 2004 finalists were nations which have never got so far in any major tournament before or since. Hosts Portugal thrilled the nation with their run, bouncing back from their opening loss to Greece by eliminating Russia, Spain, England and the Netherlands. But then in the Lisbon decider it was Greece who awaited them and put on a stubborn display to win 1-0.”

Panini Euro 2004 Portugal Sticker Packet

The Panini UEFA Euro 2004 Portugal Sticker Album opens with 4 stickers on the first page, the Official Logo, two Official Mascot stickers and the Trophy sticker. Alongside down the right of the page is the Roll of Honour, charting the previous winners of the tournament back to 1960.

The tournament programme is present on the next pair of pages, with photographs of Panini Euro 2004 Portugal No.111the stadiums down the edges of the pages. In usual Panini fashion, no time is wasted and the album gets straight into it with the start of the team's football stickers on the next pages.

Portugal themselves kick the album off, with Group A. Some teams get three, and others two pages over which their squad stickers are spread – either 16 or 20 squad stickers are allocated. Each team gets a two-part squad sticker, the shiny badge logo, a route to qualification section and included is also a list of their group stage games.
